When family treasures such as furniture, photographs, textiles and paintings are damaged, what can you do to save them?
Discover how to care for, store and salvage these often beloved objects with area conservation experts. Susie Seborg (painting and object conservationist), Jessica Hack (textile conservationist), and others will be available in the museum's atrium for one-on-one discussions. Bring along images of the objects you would like to preserve (please leave the objects at home), and our guest experts will be happy to provide advice on how to salvage or maintain your treasures for many years to come.
Before you go, browse the selection of new treasures by local jewelry artist Madeline Ellis of Mimosa Handcrafted.
